All future candidates will be sent a digital code before your PADI Instructor course commencement, you will find all the information and revision tools to refine your skills and dive theory knowledge. This is the new streamline approach, first your valuable time must be spent with revision. Second you will have access and the Padi CD IDC staff to help you practice.
How does the process work?
First Contact us You will need access codes to get with your studying. The other component of your PADI IDC materials are in the crew pack, which are your teaching slates. I will have your slates here in Cyprus or sent to you prior to arrival. The teaching slates are needed when you commence the Padi IDC Course in Cyprus (not required for initial study).
The cost of the PADI IDC crew pack is €650

Pre-course preparation for the PADI IDC in Cyprus
You can prepare for your Padi IDC by diving into your Divemaster manual, Dive Encyclopaedia, and Dive knowledge workbook.
PADI also offers an Padi eLearning program specifically developed for refreshing your knowledge called Dive Theory, contact me if you would like this Padi Digital Code. eLearning theory is interactive modules, which will be well-prepared for your Padi IDC. Once you have finished your Theory for the Padi IDC Online presentations via PADI eLearning or by attending our classroom sessions, you are ready for the full PADI IDC.
Padi Instructor Training 9 days
The PADI IDC itself takes 9 days and is taught by a fun and energetic Padi Course Director who is passionate about teaching diving and can show you the tricks like no other. Joey Ridge your Padi Course Director is present at all times during your Padi IDC and ready to answer any of your questions to develop your teaching skills and theory. My Padi IDC will prepares you for the official final PADI Exams.
Soon you will be a Padi Dive Instructor focusing on the real life skills needed to make you a success in the industry but you need to pass the Padi IE first which will qualify you as an padi instructor.
During the Padi IDC Training
Classroom and practical workshops you learn to apply PADI Standards and practice teaching techniques.
At the end of your IDC in Cyprus you have all the tools to become an excellent padi dive instructor and pass the PADI Instructor Exams.

Padi Dive Theory eLearning is a comprehensive overview of dive physics, dive physiology, dive skills, environmental considerations, dive equipment, and decompression theory and the Recreational Dive Planner (RDP). Every section consists of multimedia instructional material followed by questions to review what you’ve learned. This is very useful tool to help you prepare for your padi exams.
You should know and have proficiency with the following skills and demonstrate in safety, correctly and without difficulty.
Deploy a surface marker buoy
Deploy a lift bag
Basic underwater navigation skills
Boat entry & exits
Assemble your diving equipment
Operate a dive computer
Swim 400 metres and treat water for 10 minutes
Rescue Skills including: Surfacing a simulated unresponsive non-breathing diver. Providing aid at the surface. Exiting. First aid on boat/shore including rescue breathing for and administering oxygen to the victim using a rescue breathing mask.
